2023 was a year that tested our resilience and determination, facing challenges both professionally and personally. With the arrival of 2024, it’s time to gather in Catania from January 25 to 27, 2024, to summarize and kick off the new year.
At the kick-off meeting in Catania, Fieldgood thoroughly reviewed 2023, identifying successes and areas for improvement. Emphasizing the importance of acknowledging both achievements and mistakes to foster continuous improvement, each unit shared their highs and lows of the past year and set goals for 2024. This reflection and learning session was followed by a deserved evening gathering on a beautiful sea-view rooftop, filled with food and joy, marking a promising start to the event.
On Friday, January 26, the team engaged in an intense day of meetings focusing on the commercial aspects of 2023, both positive and negative, including analysis of percentages and turnover. The day was filled with meaningful discussions and setting significant goals for 2024, always with the reminder that even the most stressful periods can be faced with a smile. To unwind after the long day, the evening was spent in Castelmola for dinner, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the beautiful view together.
The next day, Fieldgood faced a challenging team-building activity: a cooking class where participants, divided into four teams, tried their hand at being chefs, preparing a four-course lunch that was quite demanding.
Amid alliances, traditional techniques, some utensil and ingredient pilfering, and a few penalties, the event turned into a remarkable lunch, with the guidance and assistance of the chefs from Piazza Scammacca, showcasing teamwork and culinary creativity.
Carmelo and Salvo would like to emphasize that the winning dish of the challenge was theirs: a beautiful and truly delicious beef Wellington. However, in the end, we all emerged as winners because this wonderful experience further strengthened the bond of the Fieldgood team.
We now look at 2024 not only with great hope but with a firm determination to make it a turning point for Fieldgood. We want it to be characterized by professional success, personal growth, and unforgettable moments that will make us stronger. We have specific goals and responsibilities, and each of us is committed to fulfilling them.
